IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
To: Contractors and suppliers of the Autoridad del Canal de Panamá
Subject: Form of Payment

Effective January 1, 2012, The Autoridad del Canal de Panamá will pay Contractors monies due under new or renewed contracts according to instructions received from the Contractor as follows:

1. ACH payments to a local bank;
2. Electronic funds transfer (EFT) to a USA bank;
3. Bank transfer (SWIFT);
4. Other method established in the contract.

We request that contractors and suppliers who are establishing new contracts or renewing existing ones, send payment instructions to the Contracting Officer as soon as possible, before January 1, 2012, to avoid any delay in payment.

Please refer to contractual clause 4.28.18 FORM OF PAYMENT, (effective date January 1, 2012)
